Four Seasons Surfside: A New Era of Elegance & Glamour

I'm beyond excited to share my recent visit to the Four Seasons Surfside.

This Resort has so much history and it’s bringing a fresh new era of glamour, elevated with chic Italian dining and a world class Spa! It first opened it’s doors on New Year’s Eve 1930 (Can you even imagine how amazing that grand opening party would have been?!).

The Surf Club was the place to be and the place to be seen as it hosted so many stars including Liz Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and Winston Churchill among others. They did such a great job combining the new with the old, allowing the unique spirit of this classic members-only "surf club" shine while maintaining the level of service that Four Seasons always has!

Why I Love This Property:

The Ocean View rooms are worth splurging on when staying here or even the Bayside rooms which have a partial view of the ocean combined with the city view. The Ocean View Rooms overlook the ocean hence the name with floor to ceiling glass walls with a large patio that hangs in the sky!. The rooms are perfectly designed by Prize Winning architect Richard Meir who put so much thought into every detail, complete with a full marble bathrooms. When you walk into the room you will be gasping every time as the lights turn on and the curtains automatically open so you see that beautiful view as you walk in! There is a ipad that is yours during the stay to control the room, order food to your bed or ask for more bubble bath!

You can dine at Le Sirenuse for breakfast, lunch and dinner and if that name sounds familiar to you that’s because it is! It’s the same restaurant as  the one in the Amalfi coast, it comes with all the Italian staff as well! Additionally another loved name is opening a restaurant soon Thomas Keller of The French Laundry.

My favorite part of the resort (besides the rooms) is the Le Sirenuse Champagne Bar which once was the ballroom where some of the 20th century’s most talked about parties were held. It has Miami’s largest selection of fine champagnes and also serves light Mediterranean dishes.

This world class spa is designed like a dream full bathroom! Everything down to the patterns of the tile and the marble of the relaxation area will put you at peace. They even have the robes in your locker to fit in with the whole style of the spa. I honestly wanted to take it home! They have a beautiful large marble Hamman where you can do a scrub on yourself at any time included!

The surroundings of the resort consist of lush beachfront gardens and 2 pools one for familes with a thoughtful shaded area and an adult only pool. They are also right on the walking and bike path which is great for a morning jog or taking one of their bikes for a ride! The beach is narrow but if you want your salt water fix it’s there for you including butler service for all of your needs. (I must warn you though.. bring your own sunscreen. The sunscreen they provide is thick and organic, it will make you white as a ghost).
