Turquoise waters, powdery white sand , theatrical sunsets and the rum…what are you waiting for!? Anguilla is a destination you go to live in that post card you’ve been swooning over for years. Below I share things to do in Anguilla at the top luxury properties on the island all with their own special touches!

If you’re planning a trip to Anguilla and want more details on these properties please reach out! Also listed below are the extra value added perks for each property and can only be added to the booking if booked by a preferred luxury travel advisor. I can also provide you with the best dining and beach spots on the island!

Four Seasons Anguilla

The largest luxury resort on the island and in my opinion also they have the BEST service on the island. Because it’s a Four Seasons hotel, you know you can expect the best! The resort interiors have a west coast feel with modern and bright vibes.

The iconic chairs with the faces bring the fun Caribbean attitude to the resort. They have 181 rooms, suites and large beachfront villas that go up to 5 bedrooms! This is fantastic for multigenerational families or larger groups of friends traveling together.

It’s a perfect destination for a celebration if you want to have a private dinner in your villa or join the live music or DJ over in the sunset lounge every night! There are plenty of things to do, they have 2 separate beaches on both sides of the resort with exceptional views of Barnes Bay. Don’t miss checking out Half Shell Beach bar at sunset. If you really want to go to heaven, drop your kids off at the kids/ teen club and head to the spa! Here you will find your own little  getaway with a breathtaking balcony where you can relax on a floating day bed as you listen to the waves crash. When it’s time to pick your kids up they will have experienced the best day and so will you!

Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort

This hotel feels as if you walked into a boutique house that Liz Taylor and Tom Ford designed together, home to 44 luxury rooms. It’s extremely darling and every corner has that understated glamour to it. From the sparkling mosaic floor to the diving helmets in the lobby it’s a master piece of design. It reminded me of the Caribbean version of the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA.

This was the first beachfront luxury hotel on the island which opened in the 1980’s and in 2014 Auberge Resorts took it over adding in an elevated experience with a 80 million dollar renovation.

Belmond Cap Juluca

This resort is located on one of the most spectacular beaches in Anguilla, with crystal clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand. This stretch of beach is perfect for your sunrise or sunset walk.

I would call this property subtly glamorous with a Moroccan beach flavor. With 121 rooms all located along the beautiful beach and steps away from putting your toes in the sand, all include balconies- these rooms are spacious and elegant.

Step into the spa and disappear into nature with their holistic wellness programs. The wow moment is the open air dining locations with authentic island experience and local cuisine.

How to get to Anguilla:

It’s a 2.5 hour flight from Miami to St. Martin if you’re flying from the west coast. Places like NYC and other east coast airports have direct flights daily to St. Martin.  Once you arrive your hotel will have a sign waiting for you with the hotel name, you’ll take a 2 minute shuttle to either the shared Fun Time Ferry or a private Ferry setup in advance. You will go through customs and take a 25 minute ferry to Anguilla. At arrival you will be picked up by a taxi or pre-arranged shuttle who will bring you to your hotel. You can also take a chartered flight by air from San Juan to Anguilla if you prefer but the cost will be more. This can all be setup in advance.

Departure  Expectations:

The security lines are extra long and there is no shorter line or way around this for business, first or global passengers so be sure to arrive early and be patient!
